I was facing some difficulties in renewing my Passport because of the irresponsible behaviour of Passport Seva Kendra (PSK). Read my previous post to know more details.
As specified in my previous post I had spent lot of time/effort to solve it. I contacted RPO (firstname.lastname@example.org) and email@example.com few months back itself. But no one responded. And, I created help desk ticket (Ref. No 1110019564 ) at passportindia.gov.in few months back But nothing helped.
So, I decided to use social media to address this issue.
I sent this tweet to Syed Akbaruddin (Official Spokesperson, Ministry of External Affairs, India) at @AkbarMEA
And, he sent this reply for my tweet.
As per the suggestion of @AkbarMEA I immediately sent this tweet to @ASCPV
And, he replied that my case is forwarded to RPO for suitable action.

Since I haven't got any updates, I followed him by sending this tweet.

But now this fellow @ASCPV is saying as "pl contact the passport officer as advised earlier ".
But he never advised me to contact the passport office. But anyway, I had contacted RPO thro' email and didn't get any response. (That's why I had to contact these fellows).
I was surprised with the irresponsible answer. Now I could understand why the PSK people are NOT responsible. (I think they are just following their leaders).
And, I had noticed that my service request created on passportindia.gov.in is just closed without giving any details. So, I wanted to see the details.
But it was showing error message "The Online portal is currently facing some technical problem. Please try after some time. Exception Number: 9253 " for many days.
So, I informed this error message to TCS (Tata Consultancy Services) which is responsible for this site, by sending this Tweet.

But till now, it is showing this error message. Only thing is, the error number is just changed from "6086" to "9253".
I really couldn't understand why the Passport Office/TCS is performing poorly while I am reading many news articles which are saying that lot of funds are allocated for the PSK projects.
All these things trigger me to do detailed investigation about the PSKs. I am collecting people experience about PSKs from their blog posts and Social media updates. You can share your experience thro' the comments to prepare my report about the poor performance of PSKs.
And, I would like to know whom to contact further for solving my passport renewal issue..
Finally the issue in passport portal was fixed and they updated my service request with below details.
It is kindly advised to you to submit one address proof mentioning your current address. Since you are working, at your native place, in a company based at Chennai so you are advised to submit a letter from your company mentionig your current working place as your native place.
But this message was completely meaningless. And, I don't know what they mean by "your company" as I haven't mentioned any company in passport application.
Update: Finally I got the passport.
